Avalove was one of the many designers that caught my eYe at the festival. Silk screening fun t-shirts, dresses, cardigans and jackets.

Avalove is a poet publishing her work on tees. You could read some of her work and get familiarized with her spirit. She considers each of her prints as a lithograph, hand-printed limited edition. Her pieces are not mass produced, are designed, printed, cutted and sawn in Los Angeles and a friend will help her with the silk screening in NYC.

You can find her pieces at Secession Art and Design 3361 Mission St @ 30th St.  From June 2nd to August 1st this place is a hub for emerging and established artists, designers and supporters of San Francisco’s independent arts community.
