Mr Brightside

Michael was standing in the corner of 18th and Castro St, he just moved from NYC to SF. He usually buy in vintage stores and love to mix and match. He is not afraid of color, even though New Yorkers only know black, white and gray-

The vintage cardigan was bright enough to capture my attention but honestly I was driven by the yellow socks and loafers. “We don’t all want to dress like soldiers” McQueen.

This was my favorite costume in SF. Jack Skellingtone is by far one of my favorite Tim Burton’s characters. He is the Pumpkin King of Halloween… Executed perfectly… Great job!!

Rock it inside out.

Maybe it’s a personal thing, but I happen to like a lot her style. The vest is the deal breaker.

While walking, trying to stalk people with awesome style, I saw the Chocolate Bar and Cafe at Castro. A chocolate store is just music to my ears; this is one of my guilty pleasures. I just happen to have a sweet tooth, to the point that I consider chocolate art.

I found a little cute cafe with chocolate creations that could be consumed on-site.

One of the owners, Beatriz, was working and I was lucky enough to ask her a couple of questions.

eYe: For how long have you being in business?

Beatriz: We opened the store almost a year ago. It is a family business started by my mom who was a Chef and LOVED chocolate. My mom lived through her chocolate fantasy, inventing recipes and innovating with flavors. My sister, Valery, and me also share this passion.

eYe: What makes your recipes special?

Beatriz: Everything here is made in house. It’s our passion and as we are from Belgium we could humbly say that chocolate is one of our things.

eYe: What’s the HOT item that everyone is in love with?

Beatriz: our drinking chocolate and belgium waffles. The waffles are baked twice a day, morning and afternoon.

eYe: How can the people contact you?

Beatriz: We don’t have a webite yet, but they can email us at thechocolatesisters@gmail.com. We do catering and special events.
