I happen to adore net-a-porter.com and I raise my case with their sunglasses selection. Personally I wear my shades every day, I just can’t leave them at home. I am not loyal to a specific brand, I care a lot about the style, fit and lightness. You could find amazing sunglasses at vintage stores, but sometimes they are expensive -and that’s money well spent. The good thing about buying brand new shades is that the design has a ‘twist’ making it more contemporary. Please double check the website, read the descriptions and choose your favorite.

Who said you can’t wear herringbone, stripes and color at the same time?

Mr. Miranda is certainly not afraid of experimenting.

It’s all about the jacket. It’s all about the layering. It’s all about the leggings and boots! Can’t find a problem with her fearless, textured, cropped kind-of-bubble-sleeve jacket. Fall is closely attached to jackets and layering…. Well, who I’m trying to fool? Here in SF, almost everyday, you need to have your cardigan/jacket handy or you will be in a big trouble. I wouldn’t change anything she is wearing and how she pulls it together. I could define her outfit as easy, comfortable and trendy.

I like to sit down and see people walk. She was walking with a quick/marching pace, looking straight to the end of the street. She was determined –don’t know to what?- but she was walking confidently. I took several pictures from far away, but this one was the only where her outfit was perfect. Yves Saint Laurent once said “dressing is a way of life”; and I am confident that she is expressing her lifestyle with her jacket and sunglasses.

For this “Fall” look for every single jacket in your closet, specially for those you think the size is “too small”. It looks great when you add to your outfit a shrunken jacket. Regarding the riding boots, they are a MUST; there is nothing more comfortable than walking with flat boots.

Where to shop?

For jackets (leather, wool, cashmere, denim, tweed, etc.) check out Intermix and Top Shop

For boots (riding, booties, biker, etc.) check out Net-a-porter and Bergdorf Goodman

Gush! Yesterday was chilly in the city. I can’t believe he was standing, smoking his cigarette like if it was 75 degrees. Anyways overall look 10/10. It’s a shame that you could not see it in the picture, but the stitching of the buttons of his shirt is RED. Dunno but like when shirts are not tucked in….

I move a little bit closer, I move a little bit closer. For reasons unknown.

Trying to do my signature paparazzi style, evidently they caught me. Saw these 2 friends, lying on a wall, having coffee and a cigarette while talking.

What made them so special? His biker leather jacket with the blue shirt half way tucked in, RayBan and shoes + his attitude. Sometimes it is hard for me to explain. Here in San Francisco the overall vibe is different. People are more casual, their style is more laid back.

Here is the setting: eYe was walking down the street, waiting for the light to change, when this guy parked his car, grabbed his phone and walked fast to the Prada Store. I only had the chance to take 1 picture, and thank God it came out nicely! The way he parked his car and ran to the store was how we see it in the movies, fast but slow… does this makes sense to you? I couldn’t stop him to ask him about what he was wearing, he was on the phone, and my stalker rules prevented me of bothering him.

Anyways, he nailed it.

Beige Oxford Shirt + Lime Green Silk Tie + Fern Green Sports coat + Medium grey light weight flannel pants + Barrett + Rectangular sunglasses = is stylish.

I know it’s hard but take a closer look to the length of his pants, shoes and socks. I just wish every guy would have this clear. Maybe I am tough but a dressy pant too long looks awful.

We’ve got the vision, now let’s buy some more. Yeah, it’s overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Yesterday it was pretty nice. A beautiful warm sunny Sunday was the setting for the market. Watching the vendor’s cool stuff while walking with a drink and listening great music was the plan.

Some of the vendors caught my eYe:

San Franpsycho did their usual live silk print screening. They have more designs and colors! It’s great to see them perform… they are very enthusiastic,  hilariously funny and friendly. I even got one of their great t-shirts (V Neck with red printed boxing gloves)
